  Rachel and I are good - we are far enough away not to be in fires' way... but the air is thick with smoke and ash (worse @ Rachel's house) and pretty much going outside is miserable...
  Winds have died down and fires are being contained - So. Cal firefighters are THE BEST EVER for real... FOR REAL!!!
  Think RAIN for the weekend - there is a slight chance of it....

  I see the firefighters' interviews on TV and can hear the exhaustion in their voices. Yet they keep on fighting the fires!
